What is culinary medicine?

Culinary medicine uses the science of nutrition and medicine and combines it with the art of cooking to promote health and wellbeing. It recognizes the crucial role that nutrition plays in preventing and managing various health conditions, such as obesity, diabetes, heart disease, skin conditions and more. It is a holistic approach that emphasizes – but not limited to – using whole, minimally processed foods and culinary techniques to improve health outcomes.
