Allergens

Before attending any of my workshops or demos, please let me know if you have any food intolerance or allergies.

I use the following ingredients on most of my events:

eggs

flour (gluten)

vegetable powders (may contain nuts due to being packaged where nuts are also processed or packaged)

Additional may include but not limited to the following:

garlic

onions

tomatoes

fresh herbs

olive oil

Parmesan cheese (milk – dairy)

chili peppers

tahini (sesame)

My classes are not suitable for those with coeliac disease and egg allergies as I cannot guarantee cross-contamination won’t happen. My classes are held at restaurants, cafes and other venues that handle allergens that I have no control over.

If you book me in for a private class, the pasta sauce will be tailored. Please ask for allergen information before choosing one.

If you have any questions or concerns about the ingredients, please contact me to enquire.

FAQ

Are the classes suitable for vegetarians?

Yes, all the classes I currently offer are suitable for vegetarians.

How far can you travel for a private booking and corporate classes?

For a private class or a team building event, I can travel up to 50 miles from Sheffield. Mileage (45p/mile) will be added to all bookings outside Sheffield and a one off fee to cover time spent travelling.

What is the cancellation policy?

As a one person small business I have to apply strict cancellation fees. I limit my numbers for on workshops, especially at PJ Taste to be able to provide you with a unique experience and give you my full attention. This also means that last minute cancellations cannot be accommodated. I am more than happy for you to give your ticket away but please let me know the details of the person attending in your name (name, phone number, email address and allergies, dietary requirements).

  • Up to 4 weeks: you will receive 75% of the ticket price
  • 28 to 15 days: 50 % will be refunded only
  • 14  to 8 days: 80 % of the ticket price will be deducted and you receive 20% refund

If I become poorly, I would let you know as soon as possible and you would be offered a space on my next available class or you could also opt for a refund.
